DeKalb County Road Supervisor Danny Hale has announced that Whorton Springs Road will be closed to through traffic beginning Wednesday, May 27 through Friday, May 29 for paving.
Meanwhile the northern section of County House Road will be closed on June 3 due to construction work on the State Route 56 project at the location of 506 County House Road. Anyone wishing to access this address or other locations along County House Road will need to use the southern entrance of County House Road. The state highway project is under contract with Jones Brothers Contractors, LLC.
