The Tennessee Department of Transportation opened bids Friday for the resurfacing (mircosurfacing) of State Route 288 from the Warren County line to State Route 56 in DeKalb County.
Asphalt Paving Systems, Inc. was the apparent low bidder at $426,677.
Four other companies submitted bids including American Pavements, Inc. at $434,953; Missouri Petroleum Products Company LLC at $461,322; Hudson Construction Company at $488,079; and Strawser Construction, Inc at $493,327.
TDOT has not yet awarded the contract and no date has been set for the start of the project.
