The DCHS Tigers, for the third time this season, have defeated the Watertown Purple Tigers. The latest win, a 47 to 32 victory came Saturday night in the AFLAC Christmas Classic at Watertown.
The Tigers, now 7-8, will return to regular season action at home against Smith County on Tuesday, January 7.
DeKalb County had already beaten Watertown twice this season including a 78 to 36 victory at home and a 49 to 20 road win.
In the game Saturday night, December 28, DC led 10 to 7 after the 1st period, 20 to 10 at halftime, and 35 to 20 after the 3rd period before notching a 47 to 32 victory.
Dallas Kirby led the Tigers in scoring with 17, Seth Fuson 11, Jordan Parker 8, Jon Hendrix 4, Elliot Barnes 3 and Logan Duke and Porter Hancock each with 2.
