Two Blood Assurance Drives are scheduled this week.
A DeKalb County Neighbors Helping Neighbors Blood Assurance Drive will be Monday, December 30 from 12 noon until 5 p.m. in the parking lot of the Smithville Senior Center at 718 South Congress Boulevard near the County Complex on the mobile Bloodmobile. All donors will receive an emailed $25 gift card for donating. O negative double red donors will receive a $40 gift card.

Meanwhile another Blood Assurance Drive will be the following day, Tuesday, December 31 from 9 a.m. until 12 noon at the Family Medical Center at 302 North Congress Boulevard, Smithville on the Bloodmobile.
