Blood Assurance is giving you two opportunities to donate today, Monday July 15 in Smithville.
The first one will take place at Town & Lake Realty and Auction at 208 East Public Square, Smithville on the bloodmobile from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. For more information phone Gina Butler at 931-510-8227 or visit www.bloodassurance.org/tandl.
The second blood drive of the day will be a DeKalb County Neighbors Helping Neighbors event from 12 noon until 5 p.m. at 718 South Congress Boulevard, Smithville. For more information phone Jimmy Poss at 615-464-7426 or visit www.bloodassurance.org/dcnhn.
Remember to eat a good meal, drink additional water, avoid energy drinks and bring your ID. Blood Assurance is the sole blood provider for the local hospitals and your donation is needed for an adequate supply. One donation can save three lives. All donors will receive an “American Donor” t shirt while supplies last. Donors who give twice May 1st-August 31st will be entered to win Dollywood tickets and hotel credit.
