The Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency is offering a Hunter Education class Saturday and Sunday, August 18 & 19 at the DeKalb County Fire Hall Main Station on King Ridge Road.
According to TWRA Officer Joe Fortner, the Saturday class will be from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and the Sunday session will take place from 1- 5p.m. Students must attend both days.
All hunters at least 10 years old or older and born after 1968 must take the hunter education class before they can legally hunt in Tennessee. Students must be at least 9 years old before they can take the class.
