Seniors Ty Ladet and Megan Cantrell have been named Mr. and Miss DeKalb County High School for 2020-21.
Ladet is the son of Tori Haywood and Cantrell is the daughter of Todd and Jenny Cantrell.

Ty has been a member of the Science Club. He is also a 3 year member of the DCHS football team. His football honors include wide receiver of the year and 1st team all region. He has scholarship offers from Sewanee University and Tennessee State University. Ty plans to graduate early and enroll at TSU in the spring to begin football training.
Meagan has been a member of the Beta, FBLA, Climate Crew, and Literature Club.
During her high school career, she has been a football cheerleader, member of the tennis team, XC team, and a four year member of the Lady Tigers basketball team.
Megan is a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church and employed at Hidden Harbor Marina. She plans to attend Tennessee Tech and major in Exercise Science after graduation.
