WJLE’s Fearless Forecasters Return Thursday with Two Way Tie for First Place

Two of WJLE’s Fearless Forecasters are tied for the overall best record picking winners after the first two weeks of the college football season.

Chad Kirby and Dewain Hendrixson are tied for the lead at 19-11 each. Ricky Atnip, John Pryor, and Darrell Gill are in a tie for third place at 17-13 each. The James Gang (Grant and Jeff James), Jacob Parsley, and Scott Brown are each at 16-14, Jared Davis and the Guests (Chad Ramsey and Isaac Gray combined) are 15-15 and Will Graham is 14-16.

For the week, Darrell Gill had the best record at 10-5. Ricky Atnip, Chad Kirby, Will Graham, Dewain Hendrixson, and Jacob Parsley each went 9-6. John Pryor was 8-7.  The James Gang, Scott Brown, and Jared Davis were each at 7-8, and the guest Isaac Gray was 6-9.

Only one of the forecasters hit his underdog pick last week. Jacob Parsley got on the board with 7.5 points as Western Kentucky upset FIU 20-14

For the first two weeks, Jared Davis has accumulated the most underdog points at 17.5 followed by the guests 10.5, Jacob Parsley 7.5, and the James Gang 4.5 points

Thursday the Forecasters will be picking winners in the following games:

North Carolina at Wake Forest, Washington State at Houston, N.C. State at West Virginia, Maryland at Temple, USC at BYU, Duke at MTSU, Florida at Kentucky, Texas Tech at Arizona, Florida State at Virginia, Stanford at UCF, Iowa at Iowa State, Air Force at Colorado, Kansas State at Mississippi State, Chattanooga at Tennessee, and the Colts at the Titans.

Thursday’s special guest is Mike Davidson, Assistant CEO at Middle Tennessee Natural Gas
