Doyle Hi Christian

February 20, 2020

83 year old Doyle Hi Christian of Woodbury went on to be with the Lord surrounded by family on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. He was born September 29th, 1936 in DeKalb County and married the love of his life on October 28, 1955 in Smithville. He was a trader, farmer, and logger for over 40 years before his retirement. More importantly he was a devoted and loving son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend.

Doyle was saved and served the Lord with all his heart. Doyle loved his family and was a wonderful provider for them throughout his life. He could often be found on the farm, in the woods, or trading. Doyle was a quiet man that used the sunrise as his alarm clock. Though he said little, his life led his family by example and his actions spoke volumes.

Mr. Christian loved life and enjoyed being in nature. Throughout life, he made many friends at livestock barns and trading adventures. Doyle had an amazing smile and contagious laughter that would make people want to be around him. Doyle was an honest, hard-working man that his family loved and will be reunited with one day in heaven.
