Andrew Paul “Andy Reichenbach was born June 10, 1980 in Columbus, Indiana to Jennifer and Dean Reichenbach. It was there that he learned to love Jesus, music, and sports. At Columbus North High School Andy loved playing on the basketball team and playing guitar in his band, The Lost Poets. Andy attended the University of Kentucky where he received a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA. An internship with Ashland Oil started Andy on a career in the Oil and Gas industry. It was also at UK that in Andy’s words he “fell in love WITH the South and fell in love IN the South.” It was there he met Andrea Menendez and they would marry right after graduation. Andy’s career soon sent them to Houston, Texas where they settled. With multiple employers, Andy built and operated pipelines, pumping stations, and transfer terminals. To the end, Andy kept Jesus in his heart and wanted his friends to have the same experience. Andy is survived by his wife and daughter Andrea and Kate Reichenbach of Sugar Land, Texas; parents Jennifer and Dean Reichenbach of Smithville, Tennesse; brother, Peter Reichenbach of Knoxville, Tennessee; grandmother Jean Reichenbach of Bluffton, Ohio; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. A memorial service was held at Christ the King Presbyterian Church in Houston on March 25. A second memorial service will be held at Ebenezer Mennonite Church in Bluffton, Ohio at 11:00 on Saturday, April 15. This information provided as a courtesy of DeKalb Funeral Chapel.
