Elese Sisco Mathis age 92 of Watertown, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021 at NHC Healthcare in Smithville. Born March 10, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Daisy Baker Sisco and was preceded in death by a sister Peggy Lancaster, brother, Sam Sisco and nephew, Kenneth Sisco. Elese’s husband, Medford Mathis died on Feb. 14, 2018. She was a longtime retired employee of Precision Rubber Products in Lebanon. She is survived by her nephews, Danny Adamson and Don Adamson both of Liberty, Jimmy (Robbie) Sisco, Terry (Judy) Sisco, Ashton Sisco; nieces, Laurie (Curtis) Graves, Malinda (Eric) Waterson, Sharon (Frank) Pfeifer, Kimberlee (Dustin) MacDuff, Annette Chandler; 11 great nephews, 8 great nieces, 3 great great nieces and 1 great great nephew; special friends, Nell McKinney, Barbara Fister, Tammy Cline, Jan Taylor and Emma Ashford. Graveside services and interment will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021 at Salem Cemetery in Liberty with Bro. Mike Carpenter officiating. There will be visitation at the funeral home on Sunday from 10 a.m. till 1:30 p.m. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at NHC in Smithville for all their love and care.
