Mr. J.D. Pedigo, age 89 of Smithville, passed away on Saturday, July 6 at St. Thomas West in Nashville. He was retired from Kingston Timers and a member of Smithville Church of God.
He was born in Smithville on February 22, 1935 to his parents, the late Othel and Bessie Billings Pedigo. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Ethelene Cantrell Pedigo; daughter, Melanie Faith Pedigo; 2 brothers, Garland Pedigo and Royce Pedigo; nephews, Larry Pedigo and Steve White; great-niece, Bobbie Pedigo; great-nephew, Corey Pedigo.
Visitation with family will be in the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home on Monday from noon until 8pm and on Tuesday from 10am until the service at 2pm. Burial will follow in DeKalb Memorial Gardens with Bro. Chris Moore officiating.
Survivors include 2 special nephews, Tim (Andra) Pedigo and Glynn (Melody) Pedigo all of Smithville; 5 nephews, Jeff (Sherry) Pedigo of Murfreesboro, Mark (Virginia) White of Gallatin, Darrell (Claudia) Pedigo, David White, Thomas (Tammy) White, and Paul White all of Smithville; 3 nieces, Tina (Jeff) Allred of Mississippi, Marlene Romo, and Beth Adcock both of Smithville; special aunt, Eva Cubbins of Smithville; uncle, Alfred Pedigo of Smithville; and special companion, Bella.
In addition to flowers, donations can be made to Emma’s Kids Closet at Smithville Church of God.
