Julia, age 35 of Lebanon, passed away July 7, 2024 at Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital after having fought a long battle with cancer. Even in her final moments on earth Julia was ministering to, and witnessing to those around her.

Born February 21, 1989, in Offenbach, Germany, she is the daughter of Bernd and Regine Mueller Zieske. She grew up in Germany and professed Christ as her Savior at a young age. Having a passion for the Jewish people, Julia became involved in gospel ministry in Israel, where she met the love of her life, Dan Coe. Julia and Dan were married September 24, 2011 and began life together as husband and wife. They served in vocational ministry together for around 8 years, around 5 of which were spent with the Baptist Convention in Israel. When Julia received her diagnosis, she met it with grace and boldness. She never complained, but continued to praise the Lord for His goodness in her life. Moving back to the United States, she and Dan continued to serve the people of God in Wilson County. Dan most recently accepted the call to become the Pastor of First Baptist Church of Alexandria, TN.

Mrs. Coe is survived by her husband, Jesse Daniel “Dan” Coe; four children, Olivia, Naomi, Micaiah, & Josiah Coe; parents, Bernd and Regine Mueller Zieske of Bortshausen, Germany; brothers, Christian (Lea) Zieske and Thomas Zieske; maternal grandmother, Christel Muller; father in law and mother in law, Jim and Rachel Coe of Lebanon; nieces, Mila and Toma Zieske; as well as a host of extended family and close friends. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Vanderbilt Wilson for their kindness and compassionate care, as well as the many intimate friends whom have poured into them over the span of this long battle. Their prayer is this, that “God may be glorified”.

Pallbearers: Matt Coe, Marc Coe, Dustin Marcellino, Josh Richardson, Hunter Baker, & Jordan Marcellino.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the “Coe Children Education Fund” in care of Wilson Bank & Trust, 623 West Main St. Lebanon, TN 37087.
