Mary Ann Katherine Meiser, age 84, of Smithville died Thursday January 27, 2022 at her residence.
She was born April 17, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Erwin Edward Hammer Jr. and Mary Adele Olsen Hammer. She was a seamstress and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her son, Brian Thomas of Illinois; 2 daughters, Ann (Allan) Hottovy of Liberty and Megan Thomas of Illinois; 1 Step-Daughter, Diana Hawkins of Nevada; 5 Grandchildren, Kara and Krista Johnson, Tyler Stroud, John and Jeff Thomas; 1 Great Grandchild, Dexter Santiago; 3 Sisters, Priscilla Nilson of CA, Debbie Furlow of Illinois, and Prudence Huffman of Illinois; Special Friend, Ron Schneider of Smithville
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a Brother, Erwin Hammer III
The family has chosen direct cremation and there will be no visitation or funeral services at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home
