Onith Heuang Chen was born August 4th, 1930 in Bangkok, Thailand and departed this life July 1st, 2023 in Daytona Beach Shores, Florida. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Boon Chen, Son, Ou Chen and her grandson Meng Chansiya. She is survived by her children Wai Ying Chan, Laddavanh Song Chansiya, Kiang Chen, Shaw Chyuan Chen, Tiu Joe Chen and Phenh Chen, as well as grandchildren, Mau Yingh Patrick Lee, Maue Cher Marker Li, Chi Fong Lee, Mai Kam Lee, Jin-Chou Amadio-Albernas, Lang Rowe, Michael Chen, Justin Chen, and Andy Chen. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Tsz Ho Lee, Yeuk Lam Alra Lee, Cheuk Ying Li, Cheuk Hin Li, Suet Yee Cheung, Danian Amadio and Elianna Albernas. Survivors also include son-in-law, Khamsend Vong Chansiya, daughters-in-law Tinoy Chen, Hong Chen, Euangfa Thann Chen, and Lynne Chen, grandson-in-law and granddaughters-in-law, Hueyun Winnie Luo, Yin Ching Cheung, Padro Albernas, and Chris Rowe. Visitation will be held at Liberty Church (formally Liberty Methodist Church) on Saturday, July 22 from 12 until service time at 2pm with Bro. Wilson Williams officiating with interment to follow at Salem Cemetery. Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria is in charge of the arrangements.
