Patricia “Grammy” Maxwell, 68 of Cookeville, formally of Smithville Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 23, 2024, while being surrounded by her family.
Born Wednesday, June 22, 1955, in Carthage, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Claude Armistead and the late Ruby Smith Armistead.
Grammy’s life was surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved to be with and surrounded by them all. She was a lifelong care giver. She helped raised numerous teenagers, including her own children, that worked at the Shoney’s in Cookeville where she managed for years. Grammy enjoyed reading and scrapbooking with her daughters.
