Peggy Lynn Turner Jordan age 54 of McMinnville and Smithville native, passed away Sunday morning June 7, 2020 at her residence. She was born February 8, 1966 to her parents, the late Wilson and Peggy Gail Green Turner. She was a devout Christian and worked in Bookkeeping and Accounting. She is survived by 3 sons, Ryan Turner of Nashville, Weston Jordan of Murfreesboro and John Jordan of Smithville; former husband and friend, Mike Jordan of Smithville. Funeral services will be 2 PM Friday, June 12, 2020 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with David Settles and Rex Boles officiating and burial will follow in Whorton Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 10:AM until the time of the service at 2 PM. Due to COVID-19, the Governors Executive Order 38 and Social Distancing Guidelines; Our pews in the Chapel are marked off to respect the guidelines and allow approximately 100-125 people for the service, we ask for the health and safety of everyone that you please exercise Social Distancing. The Funeral Service will be live-streamed on DeKalb Funeral Chapel Facebook page. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
