Timothy Wayne Turner age 52 of Smithville, passed away Monday morning, December 28, 2020 at his residence. He was born March 25, 1968 to his parents, Kathy Bates Turner Edge and the late Jerry Wayne Turner. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by step-mother, Julia Turner Walker; 1 brother, Shannon Turner; 1 sister, Tonya Turner; grandparents, Harlon and Maudie Bates and Oscar and Ella Mae Turner. He was a Baptist and was disabled. Survivors include his wife, Pamela G. Turner of Smithville; 4 children, Corey (Alisha) Turner of Sparta; Sherry (Joe) Daniels of Smithville; Sabrina (Billy) Parker of Sparta; Sonya (Tojo) Cantrell of Smithville; mother and step-father, Kathy Bates and Ernest H. Edge of Smithville; grandchildren, Ashlynn, Samuel, Gavin and Tobias Turner; Aleisha Skinner, Joe Driver, Jacob and Jordan Parker, Blake and T.J. Mitchell and Aleaha Miller; great-grandchildren, Elliot and Camden Bunch, Ezekiel Skinner, and Piper Driver; brother, Ernest Patrick (Suzanne) Edge of Smithville; step-sisters, Jennifer (Jeff) Keaton of Smithville and Penny Edge; mother-in-law, Rose Knowles of Smithville. Funeral services will be conducted 1 PM Wednesday December 30, 2020 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and burial will follow in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday 10:AM until the time of the service at 1 PM. Due to Covid-19 and social distancing guidelines, we ask for the health and safety of everyone that you please exercise social distancing and wear a mask. The pews in the chapel are marked off to respect these guidelines and allow 100-125 for the service. The funeral home lounge is closed at this time and no food or drinks are allowed in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses, in memory of Tim. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements
