Wanda Agee age 71 of Smithville and formerly of Liberty, went home to be with the Lord Saturday night, April 13, 2024 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital ER. She was born November 29, 1952 to her parents, the late Grady Agee and Johnnie Agee Taylor. She was also preceded in death by her step-father, C B Taylor. Wanda was a member of the Salem Baptist Church and had been a Bank Teller at Citizens, DeKalb Community and Liberty State Bank. She is survived by her brother, Butch (Cynthia) Agee of Liberty; 2 nephews, Josh (January) Agee of Smithville and Joey (Casey) Agee of Alexandria; great-nieces and nephews, Kennedy, Avery, Jordyn, Vaden, Lucas and Teagan; special cousin, Robbie Joan Frazier of Dowelltown and a host of friends. Funeral services will be 1 PM Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Josh Agee and Joey Agee officiating and burial will follow in Salem Cemetery with Bro. Michael Hale officiating. Visitation with the family will be Monday 2 PM until 8 PM and Tuesday 10:AM until the time of the service at 1 PM. In addition to flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Salem Cemetery Fund or American Diabetes Association, in memory of Wanda.
