The DCHS basketball teams dropped a pair of games at White County Tuesday night.
The Lady Tigers lost 63 to 58 while the Tigers were defeated 80 to 45.
In the girls game, DeKalb County led 18 to 4 after the 1st period but fell behind 33 to 27 by halftime. The Lady Tigers were back out front 46 to 44 by the end of the 3rd period but were outscored 19 to 12 in the 4th period and lost 63 to 58.
Lydia Brown scored 23 followed by Kadee Ferrell with 20. Emme Colwell 9. Maddison Parsley 4 and Mallori Hart with 2 points.
For the boys, White County led 13 to 8 after the 1st period, 37 to 17 at halftime, 57 to 39 after the 3rd period, and went on to win 80 to 45.
Hayden Thomas scored 10. Dallas Cook 9. Colter Norris, Brayden Howard, and Noah Martin each scored 4. Josh Carlton, Levi Driver, Evan Jones, and Jordan Young each scored 3 and Nathan Atkins had 2 points.
DeKalb County will hit the road again Saturday night to Jackson County. The girls game tips off at 6 p.m. followed by the boys game.
