Lady Tigers Notch Road Win at Watertown. Tigers Come Up Short

The DeKalb County Lady Tigers earned a 47 to 28 road win at Watertown Friday night but the Tigers lost 67 to 60.

The girls game saw Watertown take an 8 to 5 lead after the 1st period but DC fought back for a 21 to 18 halftime advantage. The Lady Tigers held a 31 to 20 lead after the 3rd period and went on to win 47 to 28.

Kadee Ferrell scored 10 followed by Kenzie France and Mya Ruch each with 8, Emme Colwell and Megan Walker each with 7, Summer Crook 4, and Megan Cantrell with 3.

The Purple Tigers opened up a 16 to 9 lead over the Tigers in the 1st period of the boys game and led 24 to 16 at halftime and 45 to 42 after the 3rd period before going on to win 67 to 60.

Dakota White and Lucas Hale each scored 12. Michael Elswick 10. Dallas Cook, Jordan Young, and Luke Jenkins each with 6, Evan Jones 5 and Elisha Ramos with 3.

DeKalb County will visit Cookeville tonight (Saturday, December 14) starting with the girls game at 6 p.m. WJLE will broadcast both games LIVE.
