Hellon Janette Moss age 72 of Alexandria, died Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 19, 2019 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. Born Jan. 12, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Eldon and Jessie Lee Williamson George and was preceded in death by her brother, Melvin George. Janette was a member of Liberty Hill Presbyterian Church, a graduate of DeKalb Co. High School and retired from Tenneco Mgf. in Smithville. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jim Moss; sons, Randy Moss and wife, Kim and Greg Moss and wife, Wendy all of Alexandria; grandchildren, Ashlee (Nathan) Thomason, Whitney (Andy) Brelje, Jada and Allen Moss; great grandchildren, Grady, Emma and Wade Thomason, Thomas, Will and Anna Brelje; sisters, Eldon Lee (Robert) Vanatta and Gearline Jones; nieces and nephews. Funeral services 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, 2019 at Hunter Funeral Home in Watertown with Rev. Tim Diffenderfer, Dr. John Cheetham and Nathan Thomason officiating. Visitation 1-8 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. till service time on Sunday. Pallbearers, Grady Thomason, Andy and Thomas Brelje, Allen Moss, Mike McMillen, Bo Tyree, Tommy Gibbs, Chris Jackson, Derek Young, George Allen. Interment at Brush Creek Memorial Gardens. 67 year old Linda Lawrence of Smithville passed away Saturday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She was a Baptist and a sales associate at Dairy Queen. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Nathan Thomason will officiate and burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dalton and Clara Lawrence. Survivors include four sisters, Gwen Chaffins of Knoxville, Gloria and Stan Holbrook of Lexington, Kentucky, Karen and Hugh Sylvia of Lexington, Kentucky, and Gail and Acie Rogers of Prestonsburg, Kentucky. Special friend, Loretta Adcock of Smithville. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins also survive. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Terry Jones, age 63 of McMinnville passed away Saturday, November 16th at Erlanger Hospital. Mr. Jones was a Christian, and worked as a welder at Morrison Tool and Fabrication. He was preceded in death by Parents Carl and Eula Dean Jones, and Nephew Tim Jennings. Survivors include Daughter and Son-In-Law; Ashely (Nicholas) Silvus of Viola, Son; Tyler Jones of Viola. 2 Grandchildren; Aubrey and Amelia Silvus. 2 Sisters; Regina (Ronald) Jennings of McMinnville, Tonya (Trent) Kell of McMinnville, and Calvin Douglas (Brenda) Jones of McMinnville. 2 Nephews; Brian Jennings, and Keaton Kell both of McMinnville. 6 Great Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, November 19th at 11am at Gardens of Memory in McMinnville, with Brother Jackie Matheny officiating, and burial to follow at Shellsford Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday at Gardens of Memory from 3pm till 8pm, and on Tuesday 9am till 11am. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Troy Eugene Hinton age 44 of Huntsville, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2019. He was born March 24, 1975 in Birmingham, AL.
Mr. Hinton is survived by his wife April Tidmore Hinton; sons Corbin Smith and Wyatt Hinton; step-children: Sierra Smith, Haleigh Smith and Chase Smith; father Jerry Hinton (Susan); mother Joan Kelly (Rance); brothers David Hinton (Crystal) and Rance Kelly, Jr. (Annette); grandmother Lois Warden Tipton and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Spry Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Spry Funeral Home with interment in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.

A.J. Neal, 76, passed away Sun., Nov. 10, 2019 at his home following an extended illness. He was a native of Cannon Co. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Brenda Preston Neal of Cannon Co.; children, Tony (Tracy) Neal, Randy (Gail) Neal and Kim (Brad) Hall all of Cannon Co.; grandchildren, Lacy (Jimmy) Wheeler, Zach Martin and A.J. Hall and great grandchildren, Maddison and Jamie Wheeler. He is preceded in death by his parents, H.C. & Reba Gunter Neal. A.J. was a member of the North Warren Church of Christ. He was a farmer, retired from Nissan and worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator at Cannon Co. Hwy. Dept. A.J. always loved working in anything that was in the dirt including farming and gardening. He was a hard worker who loved to tell stories about old times, he loved God and his family but most of all his grandchildren were his favorite. Funeral Services will be 1 pm Wed., November 13, 209 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Parkhurst and Bro. Jamison Crouch officiating. Interment will follow in the Gunter – Grizzle Cemetery. Pallbearers include Wayne Hancock, Abby Dobson, Russell Burks, Daniel Kelley, Kevin Wrisner and James Dillard and honorary pallbearers, Jimmy Hale, Billy Young, Jared Kirby and Billy Nichols.
