Timothy Lane Cope

Timothy Lane Cope age 61 of Smithville passed away on Saturday April 8, 2023 at his residence. Mr. Cope was a retired truck driver for Webb’s Farms and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Mr. Cope was born on August 3, 1961 in Smithville, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by one brother, Barry Cope.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday April 11, 2023 at 1pm in the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home with interment to follow in Shiloh Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2:30pm until 7pm, and on Tuesday from 10am until the service time at 1pm.

Survivors of Mr. Cope include his wife, Donna Sullivan Cope; 1 Son, Clinton (Lakota) Cope; 4 Grandchildren, Leauna Cullum, Bethany Dillon, Emmitt Hale, and Abigail Hale; 1 Sister, Melinda (Chris) Blocker; Mother, Loretta Wall all of Smithville; Father, Grady (Kay) Cope of Estel Springs; and his mother-in-law, Gayle Hill of Smithville.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations please be made to Love-Cantrell to help with burial expenses.

Dean Poss

April 8, 2023

Mr. Dean Poss age 82 of Smithville passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023 at his residence. He was retired from the Tennessee Department of Transportation and a member of the Mt. View The Baptist Church.

He was born on July 6, 1940 in Smithville, TN to his parents, David Everett and Wilma Catherine Taylor Poss who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was his sister, Reba Knowles, and 5 brothers, Clifton Poss, Mason Poss, William Poss, Joe Ben Poss, and Glynn Poss.

Funeral Services for Mr. Poss will be held on Monday, April 10, 2023 at 1pm at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home with interment in the DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Bro. Dwight Knowles and Bro. Johnny Adcock will officiate. Visitation with the Poss family will be held on Sunday from 3pm until 8pm, and on Monday from 10am until the service time at 1pm at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. In addition to flowers donations can be made to the Mt. View The Baptist Church or St. Jude in memory of Mr. Poss.

Survivors include a son, Byron (Donnell) Poss, daughter, Terri Poss, 3 grandchildren, Keshia Poss, Westly (Lori) Poss, and Makenzie Poss; 4 Great Grandchildren, Sawyer Green, Hazel Pinegar, Fletcher Green, and Kobe Pinegar all of Smithville; and 1 Sister, Wanda (Ed) Higdon of Hendersonville. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.

Mary Sue Streamer

Mary Sue Streamer age 62, passed away Thursday April 6, 2023 at her residence in Smithville. She was born July 26, 1960 to her parents, the late Richard John and Joyce Elaine Skidmore Kaczmarek. She worked as a CNA with a hospital in Warsaw, New York. Ms. Streamer is survived by her children, Jayson M. Schillaci of New York, Shannan Neal of New York, Amber (Daniel) Ferron of Texas and Karena Streamer of Smithville; 8 grandchildren, Jalynn, Gordon, Dawson, Gage, Addison, Ezra, Avery, Jayanna; great nephews, Javontae, and Jaeden; siblings, Rick (Jenny) Kaczmarek, Todd Kaczmarek, Misti (Lamar) Martin and Johnny Kaczmarek; special family friends, Ron and Sandy Carney; special aunt, Sue Omans.  Ex-husband/companion, Michael Streamer. The family has honored Ms. Streamer’s request to be cremated and a private service will be held at a later date. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.




Andrew Paul “Andy Reichenbach

Andrew Paul “Andy Reichenbach was born June 10, 1980 in Columbus, Indiana to Jennifer and Dean Reichenbach. It was there that he learned to love Jesus, music, and sports. At Columbus North High School Andy loved playing on the basketball team and playing guitar in his band, The Lost Poets. Andy attended the University of Kentucky where he received a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA. An internship with Ashland Oil started Andy on a career in the Oil and Gas industry. It was also at UK that in Andy’s words he “fell in love WITH the South and fell in love IN the South.” It was there he met Andrea Menendez and they would marry right after graduation. Andy’s career soon sent them to Houston, Texas where they settled. With multiple employers, Andy built and operated pipelines, pumping stations, and transfer terminals. To the end, Andy kept Jesus in his heart and wanted his friends to have the same experience. Andy is survived by his wife and daughter Andrea and Kate Reichenbach of Sugar Land, Texas; parents Jennifer and Dean Reichenbach of Smithville, Tennesse; brother, Peter Reichenbach of Knoxville, Tennessee; grandmother Jean Reichenbach of Bluffton, Ohio; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. A memorial service was held at Christ the King Presbyterian Church in Houston on March 25. A second memorial service will be held at Ebenezer Mennonite Church in Bluffton, Ohio at 11:00 on Saturday, April 15. This information provided as a courtesy of DeKalb Funeral Chapel.




Mark Allen Adcock

Mark Allen Adcock age 57 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Wednesday March 29, 2023 in Indiana. He was born October 24, 1965 to his parents, Barbara Ann and the late Eldon Eudean Adcock. He worked at Indianapolis Bakery. He was preceded in death by his father: Eldon Eudean Adcock. Survivors include Mother: Barbara Adcock of Smithville; Brother: Jeff Adcock of Smithville; Sister: Kimberly Rogers of Smithville; Nieces: Liza Herriman, Ashley Davis; Nephew: Jordan Kennit; Great Nephews: Logan Herriman, Ashtyn Herriman, Miles Davis. Funeral services will be held 1:PM Thursday April 6, 2023 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Bryan Jones officiating and burial to follow in New Union Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 11:00AM until the time of the service at 1:00PM. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.




Martha Wilson Fults

April 5, 2023

Mrs. Martha Wilson Fults, age 86 of Smithville, passed away Tuesday morning at her residence. She was a member of the Center Hill Baptist Church and retired from the Smithville Shirt Factory and an independent caregiver.

She was born on February 22, 1937 to her parents, Oscar Horace & Jessie Ann Bryson Wilson who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Patsy Fults, grandson, Patrick Fults, great-grandson, Kayden Fults, 3 sisters, 3 brothers and special nephew, Little Charles Wilson.

Visitation with the Fults family will be on Thursday from 4 to 8 pm and on Friday 10 until the service time at 1. Bro. Jonathan Willoughby will officiate and burial will follow in DeKalb Cemetery.

Survivors include 6 children, Russell (Helen) Fults, Ricky (Janie) Fults, Wesley “Bull” Fults, Jacky Fults, Diane (Jeff) Hardin and Jeff (Melodie) Fults, 22 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, special niece, Cindy “Poo” Duggin and seveal nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to flowers you can make donations to the American Cancer Society in memory of Mrs. Fults.
