Lady Tigers Sweep Season Series Against Warren County

The DeKalb County Lady Tigers swept the season series against Warren County winning 53 to 47 Friday night in Smithville. But the Pioneers did the same against the Tigers winning 66 to 64.

On November 19, the Lady Tigers defeated Warren County in McMinnville 53 to 50 while the Tigers lost to the Pioneers 59 to 42.

In the girls game Friday night, DeKalb County trailed 10 to 6 after the 1st period and 23 to 17 at halftime but took a 32 to 31 lead after the 3rd period and went on to win 53 to 47.

Kadee Ferrell scored 17. Emme Colwell 14. Lydia Brown 10. Mya Ruch 9. Kenzie France 2 and Maddison Parsley with 1 point.

For the boys, DC trailed 12 to 11 after the 1st period but led 30 to 26 at halftime. The Tigers fell behind 43 to 41 after the 3rd period and lost 66 to 64.

The Lady Tigers improve to 8-2 on the season while the Tigers drop to 1-9.

Lady Tigers Win at Cannon County, Tigers Lose to Lions (VIEW VIDEO CLIPS HERE)

The DCHS Lady Tigers earned a road win at Woodbury Tuesday night against Cannon County 58 to 44 while the Tigers lost 48 to 33.

With the victory, the Lady Tigers improve to 7-2 on the season and 4-0 in district play. The Tigers drop to 1-8 overall and 0-4 in the district.

The Lady Tigers led 22 to 6 after the 1st period, 32 to 22 at halftime, 49 to 32 after the 3rd period before going on to win 58 to 44.

The DeKalb County Lady Tigers knocked off Watertown in Smithville Friday night 73 to 54. The victory keeps them perfect in the district at 3-0 and improves their overall record to 6-2.

DC opened up a 19 to 5 lead after the 1st period, 30 to 20 at halftime, and 52 to 35 after the 3rd period before winning the game 73 to 54

Emme Colwell led the team in scoring with 21 points, Kadee Ferrell 14, Lydia Brown and Mya Ruch each with 8 points, Mallori Hart 7, Kenzie France and Joni Robinson each with 5, Maddison Parsley 3, and Megan Cantrell with 2 points.

Lady Tigers Remain Perfect in District with Road Win at Livingston Academy

The DCHS Lady Tigers got a district road win Tuesday night beating Livingston Academy 48 to 33 while the Tigers were beaten 83 to 56.

The Lady Tigers improve to 5-2 on the year and 2-0 in district play. The Tigers drop to 1-6 with an 0-2 start in the district race.

For the girls, DC led 12 to 3 after the 1st period, 28 to 8 at halftime, and 39 to 22 after the 3rd period before going on to win 48 to 33.

The Tigers led 18 to 14 after the 1st period of the boys game but fell behind 38 to 31 at halftime and 59 to 43 after the 3rd period before falling 83 to 56.
