Sherry Agee Wildbur age 69 of Smithville, passed away at her residence on Saturday April 17, 2021. She was born June 11, 1951 to her parents Boyd and Robbie Nell Tramel Agee. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Wildbur. She was a member of Mt. Herman Baptist Church and was a nurse. Ms. Wildbur is survived by a grandson; Jordan Michael Wildbur; special friend, Pam Rogers; aunts, Ruby Carter, Johnnie Agee Taylor, Peggy Agee, and Hallie Mai Agee; a host of cousins also survive. Funeral services will be 1 PM Tuesday April 20, 2021 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and burial to follow in Old Brush Cemetery in Portland, TN at 4 PM. Visitation will be 10:00AM until the time of the service at 1:00PM. Due to COVID-19 and social distancing guidelines, we ask for the health and safety of everyone that you please exercise social distancing. The pews in the Chapel are marked off to respect these guidelines and allow 100-125 people for the service. The funeral home lounge is closed at this time and NO food or drinks are allowed in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Judy Williams

Ms. Judy Gail Williams age 63 of Lebanon, TN passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Quality Care & Rehab Center in Lebanon.
Ms. Williams was born on May 7, 1957 in Detroit, Michigan to her parents, the late Eugene & Ann Paris Williams. Also preceding her in death is her sister, Sandy Williams. She had done clerical work in different offices but had become disabled in later years.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 19, 2021 at 1pm from the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Jimbo Eddins will officiate and burial will follow at DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be on Monday from 10am until the service time at 1pm. We are not accepting food in our kitchen facilities at this time.
Survivors include Cousins, Patti (Jim) Coe of Lasscasses, TN & Annette Medley of Smithville, TN. Aunt, Jo (Jess) Baker of Smithville, TN. Mr. Alfred L. Ervin, 80, of Smithville passed away on April 13, 2021. He was born in Smithville, TN on July 5, 1940. Preceding him in death were his parents, James Donald and Lucille Atnip Ervin; brothers, Jimmy, Bobby, and Tommy Ervin; and sister, Mayrene Stesanski.
He is survived by his wife, Jenny Ervin of Smithville; sons, Mark (Shannon) Ervin of Portland and Timothy Roy Ervin of Cookeville; daughter, Wendy Sue Ervin of Lebanon; stepson, Warren Weivel; stepdaughter, Teresa Gail (Randy) Bland; sister, Frankie Wagner of Houston, TX; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Mr. Ervin was a hard worker and faithful man. He worked laying gas lines and was a jack of all trades. Though he loved working and spent most of his time doing just that, he understood the need for balance in life. There was never a dull moment with him. He enjoyed cutting up and loved to tell jokes like his father had before him. A Christian man, he also understood what was important in life and had a consistent relationship with God, reading his Bible every day. The family will hold a private memorial service in his honor. Andrea Faith Judkins age18 passed away suddenly Tuesday, April 13, 2021 in Cumberland County. She was born January 28, 2003 to her parents Michael Andrew and Crystal Dawn Gasper Judkins. She was preceded in death by a brother, Braylen Judkins; grandfather, Frank A. Judkins; and aunt, Pam Hitchcock. Andrea attended Sink Creek Missionary Baptist Church and was a student at Cumberland County High School. Andrea was a person that loved everybody. She is survived by her parents, Michael and Crystal Judkins of Smithville; siblings, Sonya (Raven) Watson of Murfreesboro, Shelby (Dustin) Johnson of Smithville, Taylor (Donte) Roberts of Smithville, Andrew Judkins and Savannah Judkins of Smithville; grandparents, Eva Lois Judkins of Smithville, Juanita Garden of Sparta, and Thomas Gasper of Indianapolis, Indiana; nieces, Nikia and Paisley Watson, Trinity Johnson; nephew, Grayson Johnson; several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins; lifelong friend, Hailey Shuttleworth. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday April 19. 2021 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Thomas Hale officiating and burial to follow in the Jaco-Judkins Cemetery. Joyce E. Tallent age 75 of Smithville passed away Friday morning April 16, 2021 at NHC of Smithville. She was born December 25, 1945 to her parents, the late Melvin and Cecil Trapp Billings. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Lynn Tallent. Mrs. Tallent was a member of Mt. Pisgah Freewill Baptist Church and she was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Leonard Tallent of Smithville; 2 sons: Marty Tallent of Smithville, and Ronald (Andrea) Tallent of McMinnville; grandchildren: Brandon Tallent, Martelia Tallent, Alex and Aaron Tallent; uncles: R. V. (Brenda) Billings and Claude Billings of Johnson’s Chapel. Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday April 18, 2021 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bros. Earl Langley and Michael Hale officiating and burial to follow in DeKalb Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday 3:00PM till 7:00PM and on Sunday 11:00AM until the time of the service at 2:00PM. Ms. Reba Lonell Atnip, age 83 of Smithville, TN passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at NHC Healthcare of Smithville.
Ms. Atnip was born on November 4, 1937 in Cookeville, TN to her parents, the late Laddie & Mertie Bohanan Anderson. Also preceding her in death is her Husband, Roscoe Atnip. 2 Sons, Randy Atnip & Eddie Atnip. 3 Brothers, Fowler , MJ & Gene Atnip. 2 Sisters, Lucille Gilreath & Christine Anderson. She was a retired factory worker and a member of the Peoples Missionary Baptist Church.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 1pm from the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Taylor Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, from 1pm-8pm, Friday, 10am-8pm & Saturday, 10am until the service time at 1pm. We are not accepting food in the funeral home kitchen at this time.
Survivors include 4 Daughters, Lou Dean Murphy, Rose Atnip & Mary Roller all of Smithville, TN & Rachel Atnip (Aaron Ponder) of Dowelltown, TN. 6 Sons, R.J. (Suzi) Atnip of Murfreesboro, TN, Jerry (Betty) Atnip, Ricky (Ally) Atnip, Teddy (Lori) Atnip, Freddy (Vickey) Atnip, Michael (Amy) Atnip all of Smithville, TN. 1 Sister, Rozell Bohanon of Nashville, TN. 23 Grandchildren & Several Great Grandchildren & Great Great Grandchildren also survive.
