Bobby Carl Dale age 82 of Knoxville, Tenn. formerly of Smithville passed away at his home June 16, 2020. He was the son of Robert & Pauliene Dale. He is survived by his wife Deloris Dale; Mother of his children: Mary Ellen Dale; 3 surviving children: Jamie, Joshua, David; surviving grandchildren, JD, Lucas, and Jonah; 1 sister: Nell Beshearse; 1 nephew: Jim (Marla) Beshearse; 2 great nieces: Carsyn and Cate Beshearse; 4 step-children, several step-grandchildren; 2 deceased children: Patricia and Scott Dale. James Steven “Pee Wee” LeDuc

James Steven “Pee Wee” LeDuc age 44 of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday morning, June 16, 2020 at Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital. He was born August 6, 1975 to his parents, the late Larry and Vinnie Sue Woods LeDuc. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Frances Woods. He was a construction worker with Alley-Cassetty in Lebanon. He is survived by his wife, Teresa LeDuc of Lebanon; 2 step-daughters, Brianna Lynn Taylor and Kelsey Dawn LeDuc both of Lebanon; brother, Eric LeDuc of Boise, ID; mother-in-law, Bobbie (David) Dickens of Lebanon; 2 uncles, Jimmy (Vickie) Woods of Alexandria and Mike (Lisa) Woods of Concordia, KS. The family has chosen a direct cremation. There will be a graveside service and inurnment at Hillview Memorial Cemetery 11:AM Wednesday, June 24, 2020 with Bro. Jimmy Arms officiating. Anyone Attending is asked to please adhere to Social Distancing Guidelines for the health and safety of everyone. There will not be any visitation or services at the funeral home, family and friends will meet at the cemetery for the service at 11:AM. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.




Delores Irene Jones

June 17, 2020

Delores Irene Jones age 86 of Smithville, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2020 at NHC HealthCare Center in Smithville. She was born July 9, 1933 to her parents, the late Everett and Gertrude Doran Allsop. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Richard Jones; son, Charles V. Jones; siblings, Junior Allsop, William Allsop, Joseph Allsop, Ruby Dunaway and Sweed Allsop. Ms. Delores was a homemaker and a member of the Dry Creek Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish her memory 2 children, Richard Reed Jones of Crossville and Janet (Kevin) Felts of Tullahoma; 1 grandson, Trent Jones of Knoxville; 1 great-granddaughter, Nora Jones; 1 sister, Helen Spicer of Prescott Valley, AZ. The family has chosen a direct cremation and there will be a Memorial Service held at a later date. The date and time of the service will be announced once it has been set. Joyce Monzell Lewis

June 15, 2020

Smithville, TN resident and Cannon County, TN native Joyce Monzell Lewis, age 85, was born January 25, 1935 and died June 14, 2020 at NHC Healthcare in Smithville, TN following an extended illness.

A homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Belford and Kathleen Young Lewis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Don Ray Lewis and daughter-in-law, Debbie Reuhland Lewis.
She is survived by four children and spouses, Ronald and Carol Lewis of McMinnville, Russell Lewis of Murfreesboro, TN, Jimmie and Teresa Lewis of Woodbury, TN and Gretchen and Carl Byford of Smithville, TN; ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Jerry Foster of Montana; and four nieces and nephew also survive.

A graveside service and interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2020 in Mt. View Cemetery with Brock Lillis officiating. There will be no visitation at High’s. Friends are to meet at the cemetery.

Ella Marie Roark Reeder

Ella Marie Roark Reeder age 58 of Smithville, passed away Monday morning, June 8, 2020 at her residence. She was born February 10, 1962 to her parents, the late James and Bessie Cassell Davidson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Reeder and 1 son, Rusty Roark. Ella was a former restaurant owner. Survivors include 1 daughter, Christina Ervin of Monroeville, AL; 5 grandchildren, Tessa, Kaden, Jack, Spencer and Ezra Ervin; companion, Toby Biggs of Smithville; 2 brothers and 1 sister. There will be a Private Graveside service held at DeKalb Memorial Gardens. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.




Martha Ann Tisdale

Martha Ann Tisdale age 76 of Lebanon passed away Wednesday evening, June 10, 2020 at her residence. She was born December 10, 1943 to her parents, the late Hobert O. Tisdale and Martha Jane Linder Tisdale Kelly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Herman Kelly; son, Clevie Petty; grandson, Dylan Petty; brother, Billy Tisdale and sister, Darlene Tisdale. Ms. Tisdale was a Master Barber and owned and operated the Ideal Barber Shop in Lebanon for many years; she was a member of the Lebanon-Wilson Chamber of Commerce and was a Christian. She leaves to cherish her memory 5 children, Sylvia Petty of Smithville, Tony Petty and Denise Garcia both of Lebanon, Homer Petty and Mark Petty both of Smithville; 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; 3 brothers, Bobby Tisdale and Hobert Tisdale, Jr. both of Lebanon and Ricky Tisdale of Carthage; 1 sister, Nancy Tisdale of Lebanon and several nieces and nephews. Due to COVID-19, the Governors Executive Order 38 and Social Distancing Guidelines; Our pews in the Chapel are marked off to respect the guidelines and allow approximately 100-125 people for the service, we ask for the health and safety of everyone that you please exercise Social Distancing. The Funeral Home Lounge is Closed and NO Food or Drinks allowed in the funeral home. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:AM Saturday, June 13, 2020 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Rick Smith officiating and burial follow in Adcock Cemetery. The Funeral Service will be live-streamed on DeKalb Funeral Chapel Facebook page. Visitation with the family will be on Friday 4 PM until 7 PM and Saturday 9AM until the time of the service at 11AM. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
